After its first workshop in France and its second in Bosnia, the activity of formation and accompaniment of the 40 artists selected in our country with the project Artists@Work arrives in Italy.
From the 12th to the 16th of February, CUBO – Centro Unipol Bologna (Piazza Vieira de Mello 3 – 5) will host the first of the 3 Italian workshops for the realization of unpublished works that will tell the social changes that cross Europe. Besides the laboratory activities, two appointments open to the public are planned, near the spaces of Cube, the technical partner of the initiative in Italy.

The profiles of the participants have been individualized through a call that has involved three countries and three different languages: audiovisual and comic strip in Italy, photo and audiovisual in France, comic strip and photo in Bosnia Herzegovina. Among the 286 candidacies, 118 artists have been selected and given the opportunity to develop their own competences and to produce original works, through laboratories, workshop and activity of support online, under the constant guide of 6 professionals.
Artists@Work. Creativity for Justice and Fairness in Europe is a project co-funded by the European Committee within the program Creative Europe, promoted by the Foundation Unipolis, with Cinemovel Foundation, Free, Ateliers Varan and Tuzlanska Amica to promote values of legality and social justice in Europe through the languages of the art.

Dopo l’avvio in Francia e a breve in Bosnia, arriva anche in Italia l’attività di formazione e accompagnamento dedicata ai 40 creativi selezionati nel nostro Paese con il progetto Artists@Work.
Dal 12 al 16 febbraio sarà CUBO – Centro Unipol Bologna (Piazza Vieira de Mello 3 – 5) a ospitare il primo dei 3 workshop italiani finalizzati alla realizzazione di opere inedite in grado di raccontare i cambiamenti sociali che attraversano l’Europa. Oltre alle attività laboratoriali sono previsti due appuntamenti aperti al pubblico, sempre presso gli spazi di CUBO, partner tecnico dell’iniziativa in Italia.

I profili dei partecipanti sono stati individuati attraverso una call che ha coinvolto tre Paesi e tre diversi linguaggi: audiovisivo e fumetto in Italia, fotografia e audiovisivo in Francia, fumetto e fotografia in Bosnia Erzegovina. Tra le 286 candidature ricevute sono 118 gli artisti selezionati ai quali sarà data l’opportunità di sviluppare le proprie competenze e produrre opere originali, attraverso laboratori, workshop e attività di supporto online, sotto la guida costante di 6 professionisti.
