Why do you participate in Artists@Work? What do you expect from this experience?

I participate in this particular project because of the thematic it has, and opportunity to express ourselfs in the artistic way that translates into powerful messages. As a young artist I always seek for an opportunity to expand my knowledge and to gain expirience, which this project provides.
Not only that i have the opportunity to work with artists from my country, I get to meet people from other countries, artists and professionals within a fields of art.

From this expirience i expect to gain knowledge from different fields of artstic communication, to meet different profiles of people and most important, to be able to make an art piece that will potentially reach the viewer and indicate to a possible change.

To make a difference in our community, or in the world we have to start from somewhere.
Art is powerful medium to start from.

Explain the main thematics of your project

The main thematics of my project is to show the process of corruption spreading and consequences it makes.
From small act of corruption that we may not even recognize as such, to a growing state that leads to a negative adjustments for our own future and future of the next generations.

Explain the different stages of production of your work

First I came up with the idea to show corruptive acts through illustrations of famous art pieces throughout history.
After working on the concept of my idea and consulting with mentors, I decided to make a comic version of story about corruptive behaviour with some of the details from famous art pieces included, that are of course in some way relevant to the story, or some parts of it.

Currently I am working on the final sketches and dialogs between characters included.

(this segment will be edited with further progress)

Explain the choice of the title

Keeping up with the Corruption is the title i have in mind bacause of my theme, which is to show corruption on it's way from one point to another, and how people contribute to it's spreading.
