Old ''Music School Tuzla''

Why do you participate in Artists@Work? What do you expect from this experience?
I got into photography for about 6 months now and I heard about this project from a friend so it intrigued me so much because I never participated in any workshop and I thougt it would be really fun meeting new people and to also gain some expirience. I really want to show some of my ideas and what I can do to realize them when it comes to this project.

I had a really good time on the first workshop, talking with so many new people and mentors and I really look forward to the other two and getting in contact with people from other countries who participate in this.

Explain the main thematics of your project
One thing that really caught my eye in my city are the abandoned buildings. Wherever you walk, either on the main street or around the city you can see old abandoned buildings all around. After walking by some of them I got really curious... What's inside? Is there anything left in there? Those questions made me decide to try exploring some of those abandoned buildings and show what's inside and why no one is doing anything about it.

One building that has really interesting history behind it is the old ''Music School'' founded in 1949 but they have to transfer the students to another location a few years ago while the old one slowly collapses and gets vandalized by teenagers. I want to show how the school looks from the inside, with all the things that are left behind.

I will try my best to show what my idea is with this project because it's hard to explain with words and I hope pictures I take will tell that story.

Explain the different stages of production of your work
I will do my work in few stages.

First I have to get  the premission to go into the buildings that I want and then observe what I want to photograph, how do I want to do it and so on... Then I'll do some post processing to get the desired look. I will also try to get some nice video montages of those places.
