Gender Panic? No Panic! is a common, creative, video-comic research about gender binarism and self-determination identities processes. It is oriented by the following questions: How to guarantee the inviolability of the right of self-determination and the free expression of everyone's gender and sexual identities? How can personal life histories put in discussion gender binarism by revealing how gender is a social construct? In which way western culture tends to restrict gender identities within restricted categories of “male” and “female”?

Bio

Rita Marzio Maralla is a visual anthropologist, video-maker, independent researcher and LGBTQI activist.

Elena Mistrello is an illustrator and cartoonist. Work in different range like graphic journalism, editorial illustration, screen-printing and comic book.
